Output and human action
The AI model outputs semi-automatic measurements of the left ventricular ejection fraction (LV EF). It automatically captures end-diastolic (ED) and end-systolic (ES) frames, places segmentation masks or landmark markers on the ultrasound image to identify the left ventricle, and calculates the EF using Simpson's single plane (Apical), Fractional Area Change (PSAX), and Teicholz method (PLAX). The user can manually adjust the measurements.
